The Universe in Powers of 10

Just by listening to the title I thought this was going to be just another boring science/math video. At first when I started looking at the video I just thought it was weird and it had no point just zooming in and out. It confused me, but as the video goes on you begin to understand its point. They are not just zooming in and out they are showing us the world in a different point of view. This video expands our sight and perspective of how we see things in the world. You find a connection between everything, you see how everything relates to one another in a big or small way. You begin with two people laying down in a picnic and suddenly you end up in space, and before you know it, you end up inside the human body. I think this video was really amazing, with a simple camera we got so close and so far into the universe. Sometimes by simply looking at things, you either don’t notice or pay attention to them, but when you see this video you notice certain things. For example, how everything can be related to each other, how small things make up bigger things, and most important how we don’t notice the small things in life that are so important. Am sure people never think of atoms or protons ect.. but this video shows how important small things like those are. Small things are the ones that make up bigger things including us. We learn so much through videos and even pictures; a picture really is worth 1,000 words. This video is related to our next essay, and I think it helped all of us see a connection between things in the world and how they relate to us.
